When Bad Bunny scaled a utility pole during his Super Bowl show, it was more than a stunt. His performance highlighted Puerto Rico's frequent power cuts, which have been exacerbated by energy privatization. We're fighting for an equitable and just clean energy system for all Puerto Ricans.

The fossil fuel industry is making record profits, while my family struggles to pay the bills. It's not right, but it doesn't have to be this way.

That's why I'm joining sierraclub.bsky.social & polluterspay.bsky.social to fight back! Will you join me for a week of action? app.sosha.ai/s/YhOJhTTS

The lesson of history is that tyrants cannot be appeased.

Appeasement only feeds their insatiable hunger for power.

Tyrants prey on people who feel unsafe and vulnerable.

But without mass submission, a tyrant is powerless.

Like most bullies, Trump can be constrained only if everyone stands up to his bullying.

Protest. Go to town halls. Protect the vulnerable in your community. Keep speaking out.

The fight against authoritarianism will take all of us — and we can't relent.

If I could describe the GOP in only a few words this week, it would be, “chaos for days.” This is life under the Republican majority.

Just a reminder...
Billionaire tax cuts are a policy choice.

Cutting healthcare for millions is a policy choice.

Cutting food assistance for children is a policy choice.

Taking from the poor and giving to the rich is a policy choice.

Make no mistake: Trump and the GOP are choosing to do this.

I don't agree with Tillis on much, but this is an example that other Republicans in Congress should follow...stand up for what you believe and stand up to the bully's threats.
Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., said Sunday that he will not be seeking reelection for a third term in 2026. The announcement came a day after his opposition on the Senate floor to President Donald Trump’s sprawling tax and spending package dubbed the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

Trump's Tax Scam...the bad, ugly bill.
A Senate vote on Trump’s Tax Scam, which would gut Medicaid to fund billionaire tax giveaways, is expected late tonight or early tomorrow. We need GOP senators’ phones to be ringing off the hooks today.
