Mostly affecting electron apps, They're running in native wayland (i.e. not using xwayland), but they still refuse to play nicely ;w;
I'm assuming that when they realise I've patched out the primary clipboard, they're just running their own stupid local one

if anyone knows how to fix this hellscape, please do tell me
I'm using COSMIC DE, I even tried recompiling the compositor with the primary clipboard stuff commented out but it's still doing it on a per-app basis

I recommend you delete any sensitive messages you have on Discord. Not just because of this, but because you shouldn't trust Discord with your entire life.
