My head cold hit hard but before I had a chance to ghost a Process and Reality reading group a Cal Berkeley they, in fact, canceled on me very politely, and for that I would love to say thank you and hope to see ya next semester when we aren’t all dying of plague.

Losing my dad has tied my throat up in knots & I’m afraid of what snakes & bugs will come falling out when it comes loose. None of them are at my dad but my anger is so fierce. So hot. So fucking hot. My grief is so hot.

I’m catching up on Love is Blind (as all religion scholars should do) and what bakes me is how casting pits these 8-10 women against 5-7 men and then make them compete. The head games are wild.

There are a ton of books I haven’t been recording here, mostly because they’re reading for fun (murder mysteries, etc.). I think I’m actually up to 90 books this year?

I live on Anishinaabeg Dakota land under Očhéthi Šakówin and Wahpekute sovereignty, and it feels real weird for the federal government to be tweeting “heritage” about land that belongs to those we stole from. MSP - Bdote - will never belong to the federal government.
The official DHS account is now tweeting about “your homeland’s heritage”
