Had the loveliest first solo vacation this week with friends in TN. 10/10. Until the morning when, in the most ridiculous turn of events, I accidentally murdered the chipmunk they have been feeding for the past few years. RIP Chippy. 😭

My college kid just walked out the door for a night of shenanigans. Per usual, I added “Love you! Make good choices! Drink water! Don’t take Tylenol!” Because alcohol and Tylenol don’t mix. But then I, for the first time, felt the need to clarify “because of your liver, not autism!”

A fun game I play every morning is “What meals did the teenagers eat in the middle of the night”
It’s always an interesting guessing game.
Today’s only clue was a plate in the sink with some leftover sour cream on it.
My guess is Trader Joe’s mini beef tacos

I think I need to hire a teen/college student to help me get Ollie to practices this spring. I don’t want to miss high school baseball games & every other driver in the house will either be playing or coaching 🙃

Our teachers are entering into contract negotiations (& maybe nearing a strike?). Today starts “Work to Contract” and I 100% support them, but does the “No letters of recommemdation” mean they won’t write them for any students? As we enter college applications season?
