I think you need to read the room. The current Bill is horrifically bad in so many ways that it's impossible to try to bring the Overton window back into world where offsetting doesn't exist, there are too many bad things to fight

Labor aren't getting rid of offsets, they're making it worse, so a proposal to ensure they're like for like and used only when feasible is still light years ahead of what govt want
