Pulled books from Special Collections earlier this week for my Indigenous Lit and Indigenous Memory classes to work with. Seems more important than ever that they see how Native folks are represented in the archives of colonialist institutions.

Sumac-ade season over here. I love sweetening it with maple sugar from the last winter’s Sugarbush. Lots of great foraged food for us this year as we get to know the land we are stewarding.

Halito! I’m over here. Today I harvested some mullein from the garden. These leaves are huge. So grateful for this lung medicine in the midst of Covid.
