A sitting US Congressman quoting Joseph Goebbels on the floor is a new low. Keith Self quoted Goebbels as if he were some well respected parliamentarian or statesman. All of our grandparents are rolling in their graves.

I am Transgender! I support transgender youth living their truth! I am a social worker in child welfare and have devoted my life to protecting children. Wednesdays executive order, to even suggest that we who work to help kids should be prosecuted. I can’t. Just Feck you Trump.

Everyone of my brothers and sisters, the trans day of remembrance is a day of honor to those that have been taken from us. A celebration of life and accomplishments. And a day to reflect on how far we still have to go.
