I hate that more people don't get this!

The vast majority of people are not like that at all.
The only reason the current "king" in orange won is because the dems weren't giving people enough reasons to come out and vote.

That is only one group of people.
There are many groups of people in this country, all with their own common beliefs and interests.
To point to those people specifically and say, "Everyone is just like that," is missing the forest for the trees.

There are also enough Italians who would vote for Meloni again if they could.
Fascism is not a uniquely American thing it's fucking everywhere rn.
America is just uniquely problematic in the autocracy department.

nuance of an issue, then anyone can convince you of anything.

When it comes to politics, you can not make broad generalizations.

To me, it's not that people are stupid.
It's that most people know we can have better.
And really do want better.
It's just hard to get better under the current system.

The issue is more nuanced than "people are dumb." The system is busted, and people are trying to change that.

They started preparing a meal slowed down near the middle and then tried to speedrun finishing the whole thing by the end.
The dish wasn't bad.
Just half baked.

Normally I'd try to refute this kind of sentiment by bringing up the sonic movies.
But unfortunately the third one was an honest to god 4.5/10 to me.
It tried, but it fell flat in a lot of places.
