One of my good friends who's an awesome chef would sneak in the kitchen to hang out with grandma when he was little and if grandpa ever caught him he got whipped and locked out of the house.

Please don't tell anyone I sometimes just give away finished objects I've made as gifts bc I don't know what to give the person. But only to people who I think will appreciate it. Planning to make a gift then failing has backfired too many times, I feel jaded about it sometimes.
If someone knits or crochets you a blanket or sweater, they want to keep you warm AND they dedicated many hours of their lives to making it for you.
There's no profit in fiber arts, not when you can get a machine made at Target for 30 bucks. So know fiber artists making for you? Is an act of love.
