It took some effort to get it put here in the west, but I think in regards to the early 2010s, Xenoblade Chronicles is an underrated choice. That one Wii game had a huge world with so much passion, content, and impact that Nintendo hits up Monolith Soft for other projects like Breath of the Wild.

Another Shantae game for the Thread, and this one has some interesting history! But focusing on the game itself, it's a solid but short ride with classic transformations, bopping music, funny jokes, and even different graphic styles and a battle mode! Good stuff!
