Maybe because in that situation, humanity has gone past the need for money. No androids are taking jobs away from people because everyone's needs are provided for. Shelter, food, etc.

I've been wondering why, while I AM against AI, why I like the concept of characters in media that would be classified as AI, like Data from Star Trek.

While not gentle, especially the way things end fir the tiny perso, I do like the idea of an unaware pred into vire, teasing fans/friends by swallowing gummies and other things whole; admitting on stream that they wouldn't actually swallow someone whole.
