Note that I have not played E33 or Blue Prince, its just interesting that were entering a stage of "more indie than your indie" lol.

It's interesting, I've been seeing a lot of people disqualify E33 as an "Indie" because it looks like a AAA game instead of the typical indie type retrostyle. I think an indie game can have a more modern aesthetic and thats okay. Not saying you're saying that, just seems to be a take going around.

It reminds me so much of Korra really. How the initial plan was to do a short 4 episode mini series centered around the Bending tournament, but then once it got upgraded to a 12 episode season it had to put in half baked ideas to fill the plot out.

I spent too much time spinning its wheels on the Clan Bat stuff only for that to have no impact on the real plot. When we finally get the ball rolling, its going so fast that it doesnt have time to deliver on anything. 12 episodes was just not enough to deliver on the concept of the GQX UC timeline.
