yea they fixed a lot of the issues many had on launch. By the time the DLC stuff dropped, it's very much feels like a SoR game brought into modern beat em up standards (minus the no run outside of Cherry)

I'd for sure recommend a revisit if you can.

I don't think it's bad, just kinda eh. I'm not going back to play it after beating it. I honestly forgot there's DLC coming but I need to see it at this point before thinking of buying it.

SoR4 was not good on release and it took a few patches before it actually got good. Now IMO it's the best side scroller beat em up out right now. For Shinobi, not a big fan of being able to ignore most enemies due to no damage on touching them. But probably due to making it feel faster.

Story is pretty basic and most of the music is pretty forgettable.

Honestly the game was just alright. I expected more. 🫤
