I was in Berlin in December of 1989 and have my own piece of the wall that I chipped out myself. I have seen what a determined group of people that want to dismantle an ugly, hated piece of history can do.

So far, it has been set up with using both the ‘carve out’ for the WH and the private funding to get around the restrictions. That said, I’ll chip in for the bulldozers in 2029.
