State level Dem party in NC is pretty competent and based on the recent results, demos are a ticking time bomb in that state. If the burbs jump left like in VA and minorities swing back like in NJ, that state is D+10 minimum. Republicans were fucking idiots with that redraw.

Very unscientific analysis here, but using Cook's 2024 election swinger, I bumped black turnout up to 100% from 61% and it looks remarkably similar to the results earlier this month in rural, southern Georgia. Obviously not identical, but pattern is clearly there.

Yeah, but they also did remarkably well in the black belt and lot of rural counties they typically don't win. Do we have any data indicating that was due to elevated rural black turnout, or were white voters just defecting at remarkable rates in those areas?

Do we know what black turnout was in Georgia on election night this year? I noticed the Georgia maps seem pretty correlated with where black voters are located, which indicates to me a fuck ton of black voters turned out.
