2⃣ Robustly responding to non-cooperation in the face of some states parties failing to uphold their obligations to arrest and surrender individuals wanted by the #ICC:

➡️ Ensuring adequate political support - Speak up in defense of the #ICC & civil society, and against efforts to undermine their critical work for justice.

➡️ Putting in place concrete measures to minimize the effects of coercive measures, including sanctions (e.g., EU Blocking Statute).

1⃣ Defending international justice in the face of ongoing threats and attacks, including #US sanctions targeting the #ICC and those supporting its essential work.

States parties have a responsibility—and the ability—to push back and protect them 💪

➡️Back the ICC Office of the Prosecutor’s renewed focus on Darfur and urge cooperation with its investigations & in relation to arrests of individuals wanted by the court
➡️Push for a comprehensive justice strategy for atrocity crimes committed across Sudan
