if the creator says its cool to do i think thats great. i previously asked if they had permission to repost but they blocked me instead of answering so i assume they did not. many people are not going to look at alt text and assume the poster is the creator

if it's not yours, its ethical to get permission from the creator rather than reap in the comments yourself. you didn't mention it in the initial post and many people will not look at the comments to find the incorrect credit (their twitter is inactive)
