At a lot of companies the ‘c’ in cISO is literally lowercase so they don’t get too big for their britches and think they’re actually C-Suite. It’s less to do with company size and more with company remit (as a 401k provider will have much higher IT demands and consequences compared to soups r us).

They have 15,000 employees and like $8 billion in revenue.. I assume they have a few hundred people in IT. All the supply chain, accounting, planning, forecasting, email, benefits portals, everything is ‘tech’ now. VP in the corporate setting isnt very ‘high’ either.. no way he earns 7 figures.

Not actually. Normal DOJs abide by the handbook but it feels like one of those areas ripe for abuse if it’s not codified in an actual law. A bunch of folks on here worked in the DOJ so maybe they have a better idea than I do.

How bound is the DOJ by the DOJ handbook? Their guidance seems to suggest that the new indictment would have to be equal to or more narrow than the original defective one.. Comey’s was so light to begin with, I don’t know this provides them much room..

DOJ manual seems to say that they can only narrow the charges in this case, not broaden them, so theyd still be stuck with the same loser of a case if they revived.

Seems like DOJ manual mandates that the superseding indictment can only narrow, not broaden the charges so they’d be stuck with the same loser of a case if they tried to indict again.

You’re an extremely obnoxious person. The data is public, if you’re really that curious, spend an ounce of energy and look it up yourself instead of demanding someone else cater to your weirdly aggressive demands.

There really is a firehose of corruption these days - impossible to single out any specific act, so tons of this type of shit is flying under the radar.

Way worse than that - as DOD did nothing, Trump‘s DOJ is going to pay him millions. They’ve found a fairly brilliant (immoral, ghastly, fraudulent) way to reward their allies.

May be reading too much into that - West Point only trains officers so I’m not surprised it mentions them explicitly. The Basic Training manual for enlisted soldiers mentions obeying all lawful orders and rejecting illegal or unethical ones too.

Also sent a much more expensive one in I’d received as a gift for service after the descaling cycle broke it.. they quoted me 10 hours of work and a specific part list for ~$400 and when I agreed they just took the $400 and mailed me a brand new one (Oracle Touch) which was odd but worked for me.

Dealt with that and a cracked ‘shower’ or whatever that plastic piece is under the portafilter as well - I was cranking it down too hard and it broke eventually. Replaced it with a metal shower/screen instead of the OEM plastic at the same time as that o-ring and it’s worked flawlessly since.

The o-ring “underneath” the portafilter? It’s super easy to replace if it’s the one I’m thinking of.. you can find it or a replacement option on Amazon but Breville sells it for like $7

One of the known times when Epstein and Trump shared a room was at Black’s wife’s birthday party In NYC. Black had his company pay the bill and he got charged with fraud and the guest list became public during the trial.

Honestly I think Bill Richardson has better odds… a bunch of Epsteins crimes were on his ranch in NM and he and Richardson were close for years. He seemed close with Clinton’s aide Doug Band but not Bill himself.
