I don’t know that a random anonymous account that doesn’t even appear to be American is really representative of anything or that what they appear to be saying is what I think you were implying. I don’t think it was an anti-women statement and sure as hell has zero to do with the “manosphere”.

Seriously though… why doesn’t it work on iOS?

Please for the love of god fix the web client. Look at this…

The truth of the matter is that the worlds richest company makes the worlds buggiest browser and it’s not an oversight but part of a deliberate strategy to protect their ability to rob developers worldwide of 30% of their App Store revenue.

Apple literally demanded that they should be able to include running a find and replace command in order to be compatible with Chrome & Firefox v1 as one of the few things they agreed to work on as counting towards their interop score. They are rigging the metrics.

The original source for this claim is an anonymous Twitter account with like 11,000 posts and 600 followers and if there’s actual proof to back up these claims I haven’t seen it. I strongly suggest it may be bullshit.

Also there’s this for whatever it’s worth. 🤷‍♂️

The moment you zoom out and look at the big picture however, Safari continues to be the worlds buggiest browser and is actively getting worse relative to the competition over time.

Meanwhile Safari continues to be the worlds buggiest browser by a considerable margin and is actually getting worse over time as evidenced by this chart showing how many of the web‘s official platform tests ONLY fail in one browser.

Let’s all just ignore the fact that the Safari team chose to really reach for the stars and include running a find a replace command on their codebase in order to catch up to Firefox and Chrome version 1 as one of their benchmarks of success this year.

Umm… was he taking payment in fake watches? Or was this some other part of a crypto cash out process do you think?
October 24, 2025 at 2:27 PM
I‘m well out of my depth here but.. that they tried to prosecute him for this feels entirely legitimate no?
October 23, 2025 at 3:57 PM
No apparently that’s correct.. this is *after* jail

I think the insight of remote dynamic data vs static data is actually a valuable insight on one hand and this is a horrible way to frame it on the other in the opening takeaway.

I found another description of it with some more details in a book that was used as a source for the first one I posted. Seems to imply that it was a more basic circuit in this version. Curious what you think though… @deviantollam.bsky.social

I don’t know LLMs are the right source here so I figured I’d just ask you instead if that’s ok but for what it’s worth here’s what it gave me...

@deviantollam.bsky.social would love your take on this description of the SVRs New York facility in 1995. I’m interested in this first door in particular. Never heard of anything like this before and can’t figure out how it works for this description. Wondering if you had any insights?

Also incredibly incredibly suspect… there is absolutely no chance in hell that lit-html is the worst performing of everything when it comes to lighthouse unless you have some incredibly broad definitions of what it means to “use lit-html”.

Like this is a major red flag for me..
October 16, 2025 at 8:10 AM
Apologies… I’m immediately retracting that. I missed this. Assuming this is truly state of the art that isn’t viable based on this disclaimer.
