Lover of Music. Beatles are my boy band for life.
I prefer Kristofferson’s Sunday Morning over Johnny’s. I might be in the minority there.

It really is.

Love it. One of these days I'm going to gather my Beatles mugs and take a picture. I imagine they'll fill my dining room table (with the extra leaf or two in). I like to match my mug to my outfit when I'm at work.

Extreme Byrds would be more fun. Eight Miles High and counting!

This is a nice one. I hope you're enjoying it!

Thanks so much. I'm looking forward to checking out new music. I always seem to save it until the last month of the year. I blame Rich.

Great tips! Thank you!

That is awesome. Art history was my jam. If you ever need anything on Dutch symbolism, Italian Painting from 1500 - 1600, or Byzantine Architecture, I'm your gal. My husband is the science guy and I don't think he kept many of them.

I've limited myself to 3 bookcases. Two narrow and one wide. They're all jam packed, but it keeps me from going crazy. I used to buy books all the time, but then the library became my best friend.

I think it's a cool place for a bookshelf. I could just make out the line of the stairs from the original photo. Beautiful work!

Am I crazy or is that at the top of a staircase? It looks great. I have a small bookshelf for my music/ pop culture books. Bottom two shelves are dedicared to the Beatles.

Watched it in its entirety over the weekend. Thanksgiving has become my official Beatlemania time. I allowed myself to fully geek out. So much fun.

I would use some recommendations! I don’t think I’ve listened to anything new this year.

I discover so much good music from these challenges. I often put albums that are new finds in my 5 if they blow me away.

I just listened to it for the first time two days ago and that one and One Night as I Lay on My Bed really struck me. Really excellent discover.

I’m not a huge fan of much their solo stuff but I have certain ones I like quite a bit. McCartney is one of those. always like it more than I expect to.

I think it has to do with Two Virgins with yoko.

Waits took some time for me. Now he’s a big yes. Yeah, Lennon is out.
November 28, 2025 at 6:48 PM
It’s just a lovely album. Not a thing off about it.

Nice!
November 28, 2025 at 9:48 AM
Just watched 6 hours of Get Back and then moving on to Anthology. Can’t go wrong with a full Beatles weekend.
November 28, 2025 at 9:29 AM
Cymande and Big Star, too. Just about all the ones I’ve listened to from the time period have been impressive for first outing.
November 28, 2025 at 9:27 AM
Congrats on the move. I’m fond of Waits’ debut. Roxy and Eno will be getting close listens. Love baby Huey and Mayfield. Hathaway’s first is a stunner. I’m a weirdo and like McCartney’s wonky debut. Just watched 6 hours of Get Back (my thanksgiving traditio). Rich said Lennon’s doesn’t count.

A real contender for my 5.

Lots of good picks there. What's shaking with the early 70s for you? Anything tickling your fancy?
