Totally forgot to tell you, I finally saw one of them Roman era dodecahedrons at the weekend.
I'm in the "knitting fingers for gloves" camp on this mystery object, especially as the "clipped coins" theory can't explain the corner knobs.

Night before we rented Weapons.
Genuinely don't know why some people hated this. It's really well made, and as creepy as hell. What more do you want in a horror film?
I especially loved the fluid camerwork. Made me think of the kids running through the whole thing.

Walken, Cronenberg, Kamen - sounds like a perfect movie to me.

I'm rather glad I didn't see this on the big screen as it was a sensory overload.
It was loads of fun, but the only character I really enjoyed spending time with was Gwen. Her painterly world was gorgeous. I could live in there.
