The really interesting thing is that it generated a whole sort of "lessons learned" response about how it needs to improve.

But that learning is completely ephemeral, and the next conversation I have with ChatGPT won't remember this whatsoever. It has no way to honor that promise.

The absolute certitude it develops about its hallucinated beliefs is unfathomable to a real human who has enough sense to know that when a conversation gets wrapped around the axle there's a reason for that you need to figure out.

People often think that LLMs have some sort of human reasoning, but any human would know that if you keep getting told you're lying about something that you should double check your answer.

In my case, it was easy to rub its nose in its poop, because the conversation was all in history to see.
