I’ve cried at every rally I’ve been to. Hardest was when someone read the poem at the bottom of Statue of Liberty. Or maybe when I compared the beauty and aspiration in the Gettysburg Address with orange turd boy. We were, once, a good if imperfect country.

I don’t see enough people protesting. I don’t see enough non-violent resistance. We need people willing to go to jail. A lot of them. I have not given up either. But it’s time for the type of resistance that requires major personal sacrifice.

The rule of law, and due process, are outdated concepts in fascist America. That was clear enough in Jan 2025 when the Jan 6 cop killers were pardoned. And reiterated as suspected criminals get blown up in the Caribbean. The king decides guilt and innocence. Full stop. Juries are superfluous.

Friend, we do need urgent climate action. But Carney is in a very VERY tight spot. With USA no longer an ally, he must build up military. And major economic disruption caused by Trump means he has to make very tough decisions to keep things running. I would be proud to call Carney my PM. Cheers

Hey peeps this is an important point. Try not to get personal. There is an important moral reason to get off these platforms. Every click is power given to the oligarchs. However, it’s harder for some. Those who really can’t get out (business or other reasons) show us why its so critical to do so

People, we should have all been off Facebook months ago. As soon as Trump was elected, they ( and others ) decided veracity would not help their bottom line. If you care about truth at all, stop using Facebook. Completely.

I‘ve been to 3 protests and I am very disturbed by how few young people are there. They ought to be terrified of the prospect of a techno surveillance state if rule of law and Democracy are removed. But you can’t make a viral TikTok or YouTube video on that subject I’m afraid.
