@jasonschreier.bsky.social isn't the whole show essentially meaningless as an awards show?

Well I guess we know what we're gonna hear about on Triple Click this week!

You're not wrong. And FWIW, I still think you should have won in 2018.

Without disagreeing with you, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 would and should win this category even without having the most Spotify streams (if that does in fact have anything to do with it, which I think would be stupid and unfair). It's a monumental achievement by Lorien Testard.

Same, but Silksong over Blue Prince for me because the RNG especially of the endgame of Blue Prince is far too time consuming and frustrating. There's only so much you can do to help yourself, whereas Silksong you are in full control.

Jason, SAME, but also what are your thoughts on Clair Obscur being in the Best Indie Game category?

Quick, Dispatch the typo police!

@jasonschreier.bsky.social as a game released near Halloween and obvious spooky themes, what is the spookiness level of this game?
October 27, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Super interested but for now I will just keep running into nasty bugs in Silksong instead.

Amazing! Congrats!

Love your show! What's the best app to listen to this in the US?

I genuinely feel bad for Remedy and wish Firebreak was more successful because they deserve better. I have to think their investors pushed them to make that game.

We really need a Triple Click VGM show - get on it @kirkhamilton.com !

@charalanahzard.bsky.social "Would" is referring to all the hands, right? I mean, come on...
September 26, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Thing is, it's not unfair.

It's so refreshing to read this after seeing so much complaining about the difficulty and developer decisions that people dislike (ie. boss runbacks).
September 10, 2025 at 9:09 PM
It's so funny to see so much complaining about "frustrating" mechanics. The diagonal jump wouldn't be controversial if that's the way it was in HK, and honestly it's quite useful. PLUS, there IS a way to do a "traditional" down jump, which apparently not enough people have found or realized.

@jasonschreier.bsky.social after a dozen more tries I just finally beat it and I'm literally shaking 🫨 😅 but man, is it such a good feeling to finally overcome a tough boss in these games
September 6, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Yes, thanks, I've got the right tools for it and the patterns down but the RNG is killing me, especially when I end up in a corner.

(Sidebar: looking forward to next week's TC and hope Maddy is gonna tough it through all this!)
September 6, 2025 at 1:42 PM
I have wasted so much time and resources on a certain chapel boss that is clearly optional but I'm too damn stubborn to give up despite feeling so close to beating it multiple times
