an up and down CJ Carr game, with terrific throws but some loud bad plays. Irish won't see another strong defense this regular season, so a good learning experience.

Panthers offense basically abandoned the run (33% early down run rate) because the early struggles. Terrific havoc (again) by the Irish defense.

good offensive outing, spectacular defense. in the Navy review wrote about this being a game where Al Golden would put Heintschel in a blender, and Chris Ash was on that level.
