What you want is the definition of integration. It's multiculturalism. It's let's all live together how we are and accept each other and build a functioning society where everyone can be different but have some values in common.
What forces you to give up your culture is assimilation.

You're confusing integration and assimilation. Those are opposite concepts. What you're arguing for about being inclusive of other cultures and accepting differences is what integration is all about.
Assimilation is about the immigrant giving up on their culture.
