As an Eagle Scout, this feels incredibly short-sighted. So many dudes in my Boy Scout Troop joined the military because they were in scouting.

Me? No. What I’m trying to say is that New York and NYT editors are snobs and hire who they think readers will like, or who they like. Readers have no control over whose writing is in those pages.

But we won’t be able to prove it, and people will continue to say “whatever party is in power doesn’t make any difference. They’re all corrupt. My life is the same.” And we’ll keep doing this all over again.

No, honestly, she’s been enabled by a lot of editors of important outlets with broad reach that make their work omnipresent.
