The non star players should not be paid that much. The new CBA hopefully avoids more of this situations but not sure. Too many of these guys are now negative value contracts across the league.

And even if that quote isn’t real I still want him off this team. It makes more sense why the bulls and wolves got better when he left. I think it’s also more about the $ though. If he was making $25-$30 I wouldn’t care as much. But he’s making star level money and performing like Buddy.

Ya I’m thinking this will be 2-5 years but I could see it being two after this year if things go right. And things go wrong for other teams for once in the west (see clippers, warriors, etc). Some of these teams are aging out.

I agree but anything can happen. It’s all luck. What happens if we draft a star this year, trade low for Ja or Lamelo, Sabonis finds himself, Keegan takes a step. Perry grabs some good role players. Or none of it works. It could be much quicker. Some West teams are aging out next 1-2 years.

It could or it could be quick depending on if we get a star player who contributes immediately and is a top player. Sometimes they are realistic but sometimes they get stuck on their own viewpoint even tho it’s all luck and timing with each team.

If young players have to earn their minutes then why doesn’t Lavine have to earn his? He’s unplayable. Worst +/- in the league. Awful defender and completely disengages in many games. Just b/c he has a huge salary doesn’t justify him getting minutes over others on this team. He’s been awful.

Absolutely because the contract is about half. Kuz has been a role player before. Lavine can’t seem to adapt to anything other than it being about him.

It’s time to just bench him. If a team wants him they know what they can get with his scoring but he just needs to sit at home. Or maybe Rich Paul can get him out sooner. We helped Fox get to where he wanted. Tune Time to help us out.
