Global warming? The gulf stream could collapse at any time. This will not make things warmer in the UK & coastal northern Europe. Mini ice age anyone? Climate change, does not & never did , mean we all get hotter. It means dramatic changes in climates for all. Extremes. Wet, hot, cold, windy.

Research and rescue and face up to the FACT it will actually be YOUR dog and YOU will be responsible for it.. for hopefully, well over 10 years. If your up for that and you are prepared for an dog to give you it's trust and it's heart and you will not break it... go for it.

The English got off quite lightly. In Scotland, the celebration of Christmas was effectively banned by Act of Parliament in 1640, making "Yuletide vacations" illegal and treating December 25 as a normal working day. The ban lasted for centuries, with Christmas only becoming a public holiday in 1958
