At first the bluesky was designed as a.. perfect website..
the feeds didn't glitch out.. every post was funny & high effort.. there was no inscrutable drama or 'main character's

I want people to talk about research papers and argue about politics and mercilessly harass main characters in a more ecumenical way than current harassment is done but idk it's just not the venue for that yet

the actual thing we have to get over (and I realize I am contributing to this) is the only two ways people use bluesky so far is a) talking about bluesky, or b) saying things that depend on no external context whatsoever like "just had lunch"-posting or unfunny 2010 weird twitter style jokes
