Visiting family in Japan! My cousins took us to a charming 1950s-era children’s amusement park hidden inside Hakodate Park in Hokkaido, home to Japan’s oldest Ferris wheel. I think there were more staff than guests, all incredibly kind and helpful! Felt like a scene from a Ghibli film 😍

And happy Mother’s Day to Okaasan. My mom immigrated to the US from Japan at 27 and has always been my biggest advocate. She even helps me with my VO work today, assisting with contracts and bookkeeping (she insisted!). She’s a beacon of unconditional love. And a smart cookie!

I voice the lead Kai in the Netflix cg anime series TOKYO OVERRIDE out today! My mom is from Japan and this was my first anime! Director Tia Ballard created such a safe, respectful, FUN environment—I felt like a superhero every day. I fell in love w/ Kai and this talented cast 😍. Stream it today!
