Pretty idyllic day of discussing goth philosophy with colleagues, having a cocktail based on Chopin's heart for a friend's book release and finishing up with local soccer.

It's the season of posting academic letters, and I'm no different! Humbled and pleased to be promoted to Associate w/ tenure (effective Sept). Scholarship is a team sport; I truly could not have achieved this without the constant support of friends/colleagues. Many thanks to you all!

In my first year interest group on VR, we talked today about the usefulness of making content in a headset itself. Then I had students do freehand sculptures of ducks. The results (in less than 15 min) make me very happy
