PBS has great programming, but most importantly it is a key resource in helping to fill the school readiness gap, as well as the literacy gap, between poor children and those from wealthier families. PBS Kids has done wonders for helping millions of children be ready for Pre-K and Kindergarten.

Would definitely recommend any if the books in the Peach Blossoms series by Karmen Lee.
