Yes, the GUI is one element that should be addressed but there are many other moving puzzle pieces that should be in place for seriously challenging existing solutions. Discussed a plan with @jessedjenkins.com few months ago

Yep, that’s correct. We will probably tackle scenario building and the CBA process of the TYNDP. Can eventually tell more details in January.
I like the no risk strategy of doing both for the TYNDP like doing, PLEXOS and open source tools until there is 100% confidence in #opensource.
