4) We need to amend the Constitution to fix the damage that the Supreme Court has done. At a minimum we need: a campaign finance reform amendment, a ERA that covers women's rights and LGBTQIA rights, a voters rights amendment that also bans gerrymandering, and an environmental rights amendment.

3) The actual leaders of the movement towards a totalitarian America are in Silicon Valley, not in Washington. Larry Ellison has been pushing for an America devoid of privacy rights for decades. He's busy forming a IT/media empire that will allow his family to control public opinion for decades.

2) The Confederacy was beaten but never went away. It still survives in white supremacism and white nationalism. Whatever happens next, it has to include a coordinated campaign to do away with white nationalism, including whiteness as a concept to cover generic homogenized European descent.
