Fair enough, yeah I can see it.

A curse needs to be bad otherwise it's just a spell, so I was surprised at the "turn into a Vulpix" example, but then I realized that in 90% of the cases it's a curse, an ironic one at that if it is cast on someone like you.
Unless it is in a PMD Isekai context, which probably isn't in most cases.
