making the internet a better, more human place
The current requirements that are imposed upon us as engineers to make possibly productive use of these tools, explicit instructions, and tight feedback loops, stand obviously in a fundamental conflict to their application in such a dispersed manner.

This reads as a pretty nice intro to ATProto as well

Couldn’t instead Rustdoc be improved to leverage Rusts macro capabilities while still being able to use Rustdoc as if using no macros?

I don’t have a definite answer even for myself yet, though I feel that people too often dismiss the value of repetitive mundane task, that are an inherent part of the craft itself, which accumulates over time and the recent thinking seems to be too short sighted in that regard

Egan’s Oceanic and James Baldwin’s The Outing deal with exactly this. Highly recommended, especially as they seem to arrive at opposite ends

Never would I have predicted this lol. I wonder what advantage bun offers here and why they didn’t just go with Deno given kt’s sandboxing capabilities. But I guess at Anrhropics scale it just makes more sense financially this way; instead of paying huge amounts to Demo every month

Frameworks like React popped up at first under the premise that they have a built in data flow which eventually simplifies sharing state between components a lot and I wonder how custom components like this would fit in!

I asked something similar on Gordon’s thread, but would like your opinion as well: what would would you envision as the best mechanism to handle shared state between components?
