Finally able to use Tree-sitter for syntax highlighting for my website, and I got @fasterthanli.me to do 99% of the work for me.

After putting it off for far too long, tonight I re-added syntax highlighting for code blocks to my website.

This was something that got dropped during my site rebuild.

While I would ultimately love to build something static and custom on top of Tree-sitter, this will do for now.

The GitHub repository page for bincode-org/bincode. The repository has been archived on August 15, 2025. All of the commits are gone and replaced with a single commit from `stygianentity` with the message "Goodbye GitHub" from 2 months ago. The README reads: This repo has migrated to [sourcehut](https://sr.ht/~stygianentity/bincode/) as its primary development hub. Go there for any future code updates. This decision was made for multiple reasons, but the primary one was Github's rampant and inherently immoral integration of generative AI. Bincode and its authors have never and will never support this. If you have a problem with this we encourage you not to contact us about it. If you feel generative AI is not a problem, do better.
