In a normal political system that has strong parties, there would be a way for members to replace leaders like Schumer who disregard their preferences.
In the US, Democratic voters have essentially no mechanism to change the direction of the party leadership.

I’m completely agnostic on the merits of “abundance” as a policy agenda, but I’m very skeptical of Abundance as a political project.
Any project which would attract or accept funding from fascist oligarchs Thiel and Andreessen is not worth being part of.
