As for size - Norway, Denmark and Ireland are all independent countries which have populations around the same size as Scotland. And they are doing just fine!

I think you are missing the historical context. Our neighbours Norway have a sovereign wealth fund built up from the oil wealth discovered at the same time as we did in the North Sea. We have nothing.

This needs more attention. Imagine if the SNP ScotGov used its own preferred data? The howls would be heard from outer space! Yet the BBC says it’s fine if it’s Labour! Impartial? 👇

I was leafletting recently in a deprived area. I saw several Reform U.K. posters. Farage is a con man who will do nothing to improve the lives of anyone who votes for this company which is masquerading as a party. The BBC and other media outlets are responsible for giving him a platform.

Firstly you need to understand what the Barnett formula is, why it was created and how it works. Westminster allocates each of the devolved governments a portion decided on their population, depending on what WM has decided to spend on the devolved areas like health, education etc itself.
