If it'a warm enough for us, it's warm enough for them. Bought a plant and forgot I'd be winter storm moving later, so now it's in a warmed spare, quilted hoodie. And one last thing, slushy boots 'n' shoes go in the sink or shower. Even nasty flooring can sprout mold in the subfloor cushion layer.

Any wildlifeologists and or bird-know-abouters out there? Check out my peanutbutter pinecones. They might be a bit extra (I added some frozen dried berries and walnuts to one and some uncooked rice to the other), but I think the birds would like some options. And some airpopped popcorn I didn't eat.

I didn't have enough small containers for my remaining mushrooms, but I did have an orange peel! Now the fridge won't dry them out. This worked with outter cabbage leaves. It just occured to me to try an orange peel. Highly reccomend trying tangerines. Easy peasy peeling. #orignalreuseablefoodwraps

I'm started sprouts from seed. I had no pots but I did have paper egg cartins and toilet roll tubes. Cut those tubes in half, make 4 verticle cuts on the bottom, then box fold one end shut. Fill with dirt and plant away!
