Yeah there is no way somebody would cheat intentionally that visibly on stream, it was just strange to see. I personally would've called a judge there when I did it but maybe he didn't realize

Yeah like it was too visible to have been an intentional cheat imo, I'm sure it was force of habit. I still think he should've called a judge on himself for it though

That's the case for Huntsman/ASC/Slippy, the agents are a gray area where for example Black Widow is referred to with she in a story, like honestly using literally anything other than he is a safe bet for them. Marionette usually uses it as well but they is fine too

This scene honestly cares more about defending the shitty AI slop that gets pumped out by several notable creators than it does upholding the most barebones, basic expectation of nonbinary allyship imaginable and I try not to get too angry about these things but it's grated on me for too long

And it might not mean that much to you, but for me it is a knife in the brain every time it happens. There is basically no other character in all of fantasy gaming that encompasses my gender identity as a nonbinary person with freakish proportions that isn't like soft-queer androgynous

We've for some reason stapled the name Mario onto a nonbinary character which just sucks further, I am one of the most laissez-faire people about my identity that you will ever meet, but I have seen that attitude be exploited by people who are desperate to put as little effort as possible in

I can't fucking watch a tier list from almost any major content creator because I already know they're going to he/him my hero to death and any mention of the fact they're doing it is met with eyerolling and nothing ever gets done to fix it

Yeah that's absolutely how it comes across, like people aren't sharing their turn on the xbox with gold foils. They aren't even easy to sell anymore, they're probably the part I care least about playing PQs. I want to fight the best players I can as often as I can!

I hate this about the current FAB content space. So much of it is hot takes and drama farming to get clicks, and that's what LSS sees. I guess it's the same everywhere online but I wanted this game to be better than that considering the irl aspect of it all.

I want armories to be as welcoming to casual players as they can be, I just want PQs to be the local level competitive event especially since pro players from other countries can come to our RTNs and snipe RTN qualifications from those local players still??

I agree! My locals are actually great for this, my main store does $5 entry and splits all the entry money as store credit among the x-1s and x-0, and raffles extra gem packs and promos all the time and our scene grew a ton as a result

Idk I was a total scrub 2-3 years ago and playing PQs stacked with strong players is what made me good!! Casual players already have armories and skirmishes, why is there no local tournament type that is allowed to be 100% competitive focused??

"Gold foil hoarding" sounds greedy and evil so you can spam it all over social media to sound morally superior instead of engaging in good faith I suppose, but it's a terrible way to talk through the issues and doesn't bode well for the community in general.
