What makes finance 'green'?

A contribution to the Conversation, with Sarah Bracking, which draws on five years of research on innovations in green finance.

If green finance is to serve collective wellbeing we need proactive regulations on what green finance ought to account for.

Despite the outcry, Duke University still plans to close its huge herbarium, because it doesn't want to spend $25 million to repair the collection's building.

Duke's endowment was $11.6 billion as of 2022; it is also the primary beneficiary (32%) of the independent $3.69 billion Duke Endowment.
