Creating a little animated visual using elements inked by hand is something I had wanted to try. The music video “Johnny and the Devil” we made with WanQing Wang at Matte! Nande? being selected for a film festival called "Spookfest" seemed like a good reason to play with ink and brush 👻

For over 10 years I had the wish to use animation on a parade float. Brabantsedag, a theatrical history parade in the Netherlands, finally presented the perfect use

I aim to play more with traditional techniques in my animations, and to practise watercolors more. So I combined these two goals to clean up a walkcycle I animated with our former intern Jil Siu.
