On the plus side this guy is in this case completely full of shit. He's either 100% delusional, or simply BSing to hype a product.

The literal magic genie from Aladdin couldn't eliminate the need for SEs - half their job is knowing how to identify & push back when you ask them for the wrong thing 🫠

Ugh. I didn't even need to click to know it was Bison, yet again 🙄

To paraphrase a popular saying:

Would probably phase this in in stages to allow time to adapt, but it would heavily reshape our relationship w/ disposability.

It's objectively good for stuff to last and not need frequent replacement. I wish society acted accordingly.

Like one of the most impactful policy changes we could make is:
- trash is now only collected monthly
- recycle/compost still collected weekly
- significant extra fee for addtl trash pickup

Shockingly hard to find concensus on it because everyone uses a diff method to calculate it.

IMO it's silly to count "food calories", so it's really just e-assist cost (and supply chain/production/maintenance, but that should apply to every mode if we include it)

Even as someone in the "getting a tax cut" bucket, I'm furious that state dems lack the courage to raise taxes on the well-off to offset fed cuts. I actually want to live in a state that can provide critical services like education, healthcare, transit, etc 🫠
