Nah, see. What you're failing to realize, is that "Booyah!" has gone in and out of fashion every couple of centuries. The first time it came back, it was in some post-irony way. But in Metroid Prime 4 present, it's cool to be corny.

Billionaires think they're infallible because they've got billions. If you're that rich and famous, you will get pushback. Thin skin man.

I think they can weave it in through backstory. But legitimately the STORY of those original games just isn't as intriguing overall, so by using the best moments as flashback episodes/scenes to flesh out Kratos will probably be a cool approach.

The worst part to me is, if publishers only marketed just, outstanding books the same way they do whenever a celebrity with a ghost writer publishes a book, the whole industry would be healthier. But they don't wanna take even 1% of a risk.

I SO agree. I feel like I'd love it, but something about the way it's discussed gives me the ick.

TOTALLY agree with this take. I always try to put my mind back to when it was released. Watching something like Seven Samurai, whatever, felt mind-blowing considering the context.

The worst is when people are judgemental about how you spend your time, when they do equally dumb things with more of their time than we'd spend on games.
But they're just socially more accepted (like watching sports).
