I mean I think you gotta ask if he knows what year it is after that response, lol! You are aware it is 2025 and you personally made sure the House got 53 extra vacation days? Just checking....

Following on I find it best to frame F1 regs generally as "how long will it take the teams to ruin this" similar to say a new couch and cats....makes it a bit more entertaining

Entirely predictable BTW, esp removing tools best suited to alleviating it. Did improve following and turbulent air initially.

They are not the swiftest by any stretch

Well done! Important to keep up morale!

There was also a movie about the Battle Creek sanitarium if you are at loose ends, 1994 Road to Wellville. Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Broderick and Bridget Fonda. TC Boyle wrote it along w/Alan Parker. Lol this is what happens when I have too much time on my hands. m.imdb.com/title/tt0111...

The idea itself is much older and the term vegan only came into being in 1944, to distinguish between vegetarians who consumed dairy and eggs. Hilarious side note, the term vegan itself suffered a massive GIF type pronunciation controversy, settled by term's originator, with a hard G.

She started health sanitariums across US including one at Battle Creek. The director of the facility was Dr John Kellogg, whose brother William founded a breakfast cereal company (Kelloggs lol) to offer vegan brekke alternative.

Apologies in advance, but your comment sent me on a wild journey bc I thought there was vegan/Christian origin. Turned out to be more complicated lol! Wasn't totes wrong tho, Ellen G White (7th day Advent prophet/founder) was a proponent and popularized vegetarian/vegan diet, starting in 1868.

Grip is everything. Without traction you've simply got an expensive and highly inconvenient space heater. Or in this case, battery.

I am quite glad to discover I am not the only person to have had that basic reaction....its a fundamental truth that the currently defined poverty line is devastatingly low.

That is a GENIUS slogan. For sure, whoever thought that up I would totally sub to their F1 pod and patron lol!

I, just, can we like use this to finally slay the "neutral observer" and " news doesn't affect elections" myths that date back to the 60s. Please?

You'd be better off asking teachers (in a way that let them be honest) what the kids actually know and whether or not they know what they should for a given grade level. Happy to bore you endlessly about it, but only if you are like, really interested in some of the why's.

If I am being honest about it, everything about those sorts of ratings is subject to extreme manipulation (like police stats are probably more accurate lol) and personally, I would not draw any conclusions from that kind of a statement, other than education is easy clickbait.

Came here to say this, but you just did. The % of R voters that voted Cuomo is pretty staggering and Trump made a very personal appeal to Rs to vote FOR Cuomo and not Sliwa. It wasn't nearly enough for Cuomo to win (lol) but on game day R turnout historically was mental and drove overall numbers

NB "astonishingly poorly considered takes about ZM %" was in no way shape or form directed at your comment. Hit post, realized it might be misread and wanted to clarify.

Things he did well, worthy of being tools in toolbox for any candidate:
1 bypass of trad media (NYT etc)
2 U40 turnout
3 1x voter turnout
4 (crucially) how he used the info he gathered to ID salient issues specific to his voter pool, and then developed policies that directly addressed them. 3/3

astonishingly poorly considered takes about ZM % (looking at past elex, Dems normally do better was a classic). However, finally my actual point, ZM policies won't generalize bc it's a local elex, but his process really will and that's not coded left center or right. 2/3
