There are a lot of other problems. Most notably chastizing me for not foregrounding historical and immanent critique while not looking at the large book I released which is just on that topic, and which concludes with a discussion of liberal socialism, but I'll leave it at that.

3) Far from elliding the importance of addressing imperialism, the last chapter of "The Political Theory of Liberal Socialism" chastises earlier liberal socialists for NOT paying nearly enough attention to it. It even calls that a "failure" that contributed to liberal socialisms marginalization.

2) My arguement about the realization of human capacities might be wrong, but it is certainly not anti-Marxist. Marx posits the importance of realizing human capacities/powers/energy at several points (one of the things he DOES take up from Aristotle), including late in Capital VOl III.

This is also essential to my arguements for moral equality, which the author misattributes to calls for realizing a moral/human essence, by breaking from the old teleological essentialist systems that backed up social hierarchy.
