Not only did Senator Jim Beach’s conduct at last week’s hearing embarrass our state, but he also violated the right to free speech enshrined in our federal and state constitutions. Just like President Trump, everyone must follow the law.

NEW: The Trump Admin has admitted they must comply with yesterday’s court order and issue full SNAP benefits for November.
Recipients should confirm balances and monitor NJSNAP.gov. We’ll continue fighting to protect NJ residents and make sure they don’t go hungry.

This was the single cruelest act I’ve ever seen in government — intentionally withholding FOOD from 42m Americans because they think it helps them politically.
A judge has agreed with us that the Trump Admin's freeze of SNAP benefits is illegal—and has now ordered the feds to fully fund SNAP.
We will never back down from the fight for NJ families, and we look forward to ensuring the Admin’s compliance with this order.
