I was 13 when I came out at school, but didn’t tell my parents till I was 17. My friends at school were amazing and knew so felt blessed. Being raised by the military and how it wasn’t spoken about and heard stories terrified me. First time being around others gays I was 15 in local gay bar. 39 now!
